NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF PRAYER

by Evangelist mubita

(James 5:16) says,

The Prayer of a righteous person
is powerful and effective.

Scripture gives us examples of
ordinary men and women of God
who prayed and extraordinary
things happened as a result
of their prayers such as Elijah,
Moses, Hannah, Jabez, David,
Hezekiah, Rachel, Leah, just to
name a few.

What God did back then in the
lives of his children,

He is still able to do Today in
our lives because God is the
same,

Yesterday, Today and Forever.

Never underestimate the power
of prayer.

Prayer is very powerful in the
life of a believer.

In fact, prayer is one of the
powerful weapons believers
have to use against the enemy.

That is why the enemy tries to
limit our prayer life because he
knows that our prayers limit him.

According to Scripture,

We should never stop praying,
(1 Thessalonians 5:17).

We should always pray no matter
how we feel or the circumstances
that we face in our lives.

The truth of the matter is,

We should pray always because
of who God is, what God is doing
and what God is able to do in our
lives no matter what is happening.

God is always in control.

Prayer is not a one way conversation
but a two way conversation between
you and God.

In the same way you speak to
someone you have a relationship
with and they also speak to you,

God wants to speak to you too
because you have a relationship
with Him.

However, sometimes when we pray,
we don’t give God the opportunity to
speak to us.

What happens is that as soon as
we finish praying,

we leave without letting God speak
to us because we sometimes forget
to see prayer that way,

We don’t wait to Hear what God has
to say.

Prayer is extremely important in
our lives as believers in Christ so
much so that Jesus Christ took it
upon Himself to teach His Disciples
how to pray.

Prayer is a good habit to cultivate
in our daily lives.

Prayer is about being sincere
with what is in our heart.

Prayer doesn’t have to be
complicated or long for God
to listen.

God still hears us even if our
prayers are short and
uncomplicated.

Whenever you pray,

Whatever you ask for in prayer,

Scripture says that you should
believe that you have received it
and it will be yours, (Mark 11:24).

Never underestimate the power
of Prayer in your life.

Prayer has the power to change
things starting with the one who
Prays, you.

God Bless
