This is part one of a four-part series on financial strongholds. Many people have been taken captive by financial strongholds in their lives and are likely not even aware of it.
Listen to 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 carefully…
For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ….
What are these “strongholds” we face? In this verse, Paul interprets the metaphor of a stronghold as “arguments against the knowledge of God”. In other words, these are the philosophies, reasonings, and schemes of the world. The “pretensions” have to do with anything proud, man-centered, and self-confident.
We often run for safety into the fortress of human reasoning and the pretense of logic. And there is the pinnacle of pride, in which the human heart revels in thoughts of its own excellence and sufficiency.
The victorious Christian escapes from these strongholds by identifying every false theory, every human philosophy and every prideful thought that have controlled us and replaces it with Truth.
Money will not destroy a financial stronghold. Only by the power of God’s Spirit and Word can we escape these false philosophies that hold us back from God’s plan.

Ther are financial demons, and it’s possible to be delivered from them. Once these evil spirits have access and reign over your mind, you will notice a few of these symptoms.
These are a few symptoms of the impact of financial demons.
How do you get deliverance?
Trust me; it’s not by killing your enemies or shouting “die, die”! The weapons of our warfare are not guns or spears; they are paradigms, philosophies and perspectives. Through God, they can help us destroy the strongholds of limiting beliefs and transform the paradigms that shape our realities. What you need is more than a prayer vigil, it’s many mind renewal vigils.
Share with those you love.
1. You’ll know money passed through your hands, but nothing meaningful to show for it. No assets with passive income.
2. You’ll work for years and suddenly realize you don’t have meaningful reserves. You spend as you earn or even faster.
3. You try to make reserves and realize that saving N 10, 000 per month is a challenge for you, placing you lower by 1/3 than bus drivers and meat sellers.
4. Every time you have a windfall, your car breaks down, your roof leaks or one problem or the other surfaces. Your windfall goes with the wind.
5. You suddenly realize that your friends have similar realities with yours; you don’t have a human way of escape.
6. You feel helpless and out of control with regards to getting your finances on track. You have an urgent need of help.
